June: Birchwood Leisure Centre Closed for Refurbishment

Jun 5, 2024 | News | 2 comments

Part of Birchwood Leisure Centre will be undergoing major refurbishment in June, which will be affecting all fitness classes, our sports hall, 3G pitch, and our Strength Boutique.

The toilet facilities at the leisure centre will be going through a complete upgrade, which will introduce two new accessible toilets and completely new male and female rooms.

As part of this upgrade, new sanitary ware, ceilings, flooring and up-to-date ventilation systems will be installed to maximise comfort and convenience for all visitors to the leisure centre.

With the building closed, we are also taking the opportunity to clear, reorganise and repaint areas of the leisure centre.

Due to this work, admittance to the site for much of June will be restricted, with all areas of the building affected for this period. With current plans in place, we hope to begin limited operations from Monday 17th June. We advise our members to keep an eye on our social media pages to stay right up to date on when we’ll be reopening fully.
