What is Mat Pilates?

Mat Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening and lengthening your core muscles and conditioning your arms and legs.

We view the body as a finely tuned, integrated system needing balance, mobility, and strength to perform at its best. In our Mat Pilates class, you will learn how to move correctly to replace pain, stiffness, and restrictions with effortless movement. In each class, we can work alongside your care provider (Physio, Osteopath, etc.) to ensure we target the areas needed to benefit you the most.

Who is it Best For?

Our Mat Pilates classes suit all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. We offer modifications and progressions for each exercise to accommodate everyone’s needs and ensure we challenge everybody at their level.

Our certified and experienced instructors will guide you through exercises to improve your posture, balance, and flexibility. You will also learn how to breathe correctly, helping you relax and reduce stress. Our goal is to provide you with a safe and effective workout that will leave you feeling refreshed, energised, and stronger. Join our Mat Pilates classes today and experience the benefits for yourself.

Restorative Pilates (Chair Based)

What is Restorative Pilates?

Restorative Pilates is a chair-based class that focuses on the therapeutic benefits of the Pilates method. Movements are alignment based and executed with control, designed to improve posture, flexibility, and balance while reducing stress and tension in the body.

Restorative Pilates uses small equipment such as foam rollers, resistance bands, and balls to support the body and provide additional feedback to the muscles.

Who is it Best For?

Restorative Pilates benefits many people, including those recovering from injuries or illnesses, individuals with chronic pain or physical limitations, and those seeking gentle and therapeutic exercise.

It can also be a helpful practice for individuals who experience high levels of stress or anxiety and are looking for ways to manage their symptoms.
