Netball is a team sport similar to basketball but played with different rules and on a smaller court.

The objective is to score goals by passing the ball to teammates and shooting it into a hoop at each end of the court. The team with the most goals at the end of the game, which is usually four quarters of 15 minutes each, wins.

Hatfield Netball Club (HNC) welcomes all ages and abilities to come along and get involved. With sessions led by qualified coaches in a friendly environment, the club delivers programmes that allow players to participate at all levels of play.

Members are also encouraged and fully supported to further their development in all aspects of netball, including playing, coaching, umpiring and officiating.

HNC invites athletes of all ages to join one of its many squads. With teams in East Region Divisions 1 & 3, Herts County League, local leagues and junior leagues and tournaments, the HNC teams play at venues across Hertfordshire.
