This chair-based exercise programme improves strength, stability, and confidence in balance.

Take a look at the video below to find out how this class could benefit you. The name may be different, but the class contains the same great content!

Who is it For?

The programme helps to reduce the risk of falls, particularly among older adults at higher risk of falls and fall-related injuries. Our qualified exercise instructors understand the body’s age-related changes and deliver this class with those concerns in mind.

Following the Postural Stability Instruction (PSI) method, this class helps improve strength, stability, and confidence in balance.

The program includes assessing fall risk factors, such as balance and mobility, strength, vision, and medication use. Based on the assessment, our instructors will develop a tailored program for each participant to address identified risk factors and improve overall strength, balance, and coordination.

The ultimate goal of this programme is to reduce the incidence of falls and related injuries, improve quality of life, and help older adults maintain their independence for as long as possible.

Please note: Participants must complete the class programme pack prior to attending this class.

Our Falls Management Programme is funded by the Wellfield Trust.
