Aerobics (Low Impact)

Enjoy rhythmic exercise with stretching and strength training routines to improve all elements of your fitness

What is Low Impact Aerobics?

Low-impact aerobics is a form of aerobic activity involving gentle movements on the joints and minimising the impact on the body. Enjoy rhythmic exercise with stretching and strength training routines to improve all elements of fitness for all ages and abilities.

Unlike high-impact aerobics, which includes jumping and running that can strain joints, low-impact aerobics typically involves stretching, using weights, or a step.

Participants follow an instructor’s choreography and music to get their heart rates up and improve their endurance. This makes the workout more enjoyable and motivating and provides a sense of community and social support.

Who is it Best For?

Low-impact aerobics can effectively improve cardiovascular health, burn calories, and improve overall fitness while reducing the risk of injury. It can be a good choice for people who are overweight, older, or have joint problems, as well as those recovering from an injury or surgery.

Low-impact aerobics can also be modified to suit different fitness levels and abilities, making it an inclusive form of exercise for a wide range of people.

Wearing active gear will ensure you feel most comfortable throughout the session.
